Bamburgh Clinic’s Aidan Ward is a multi-award winning, purpose built, acute admission facility for men who have a mental disorder and who have come into contact with the Criminal Justice System. The Unit offers four wards, Aidan, Cuthbert, Cuthbert Annexe and Oswin. Aidan Ward is a 10 bedded unit providing a medium secure admission, assessment and treatment service.
Aidan Ward is for men aged 18 years and over who have either had contact with the Criminal Justice System or whose behaviour in mental health settings is such to require management in a specialist forensic service.
You can be referred to Bamburgh Clinic through a specialist mental health service or prison.
