Oswin Unit is part of Bamburgh Clinic, a multi-award winning purpose built acute admission facility for men who have a mental health disorder and who have come into contact with the Criminal Justice System. The Unit offers four wards, Aidan, Cuthbert, Cuthbert Annexe and Oswin. Oswin Unit is an 11 bedded unit providing a medium secure inpatient forensic personality disorder service.
Oswin Unit is for men between the ages of 18 to 65 from the North East of England. It provides a specialist assessment and treatment service for men who have a primary diagnosis of personality disorder.
You can be referred to Oswin Unit through a specialist mental health service or through prison.
